is it my p28?or my wirings?

Default is it my p28?or my wirings?

i got a b16a and just got a chipped p28 ecu(mugen program)and out of nowhere the engine light lights up.and to get rid of it i have to trun off the motor and turn it back on.and when i have that on,the vtec dont work.so maybe you guys could help me on this.thanks.

whatever it is, it is throwing you into "limp" mode, which means the ecu is seeing something it really doesn't like, such as a misfire, ect. Check your ecu codes and see why the light is coming on. You can do it through entering diagnostics on your ecu. I'm sure there is a write-up on it in search.

to get rid of the check engine light u turn off the motor and turn it back on rite. if so.

first open the hood and check to see that your 15amp back up fuse is in the fuse box and that it has not blown. with this fuse blown or removed the ecu will reset itself its the same as disconnecting the battery cable.

my wiring is bad so that everytime i put in a fuse it blows immediately im taking out the wiring harness to redo it. my car is a salvaged car wires been cut and rigged with butt connectors. in the mean time check the code to see wut it is i know this sounds stupid but check your oil also make sure u got enough
