Default code9 HELP

my car threw a check engine light a few days ago. i got the code from the ecu and its 9 short blinks and then a pause then 9 short blinks again and so on and so forth. and when i excelerate it gets to a certain rpm and kinda stumbles and then everything is fine. i replaced fuel filter, plugs, wires, distributor cap, the coil in the distributor. and i am still getting the code and the stumble. ive talked to some people and they have told me that i shouldnt be the distributor because it is either good or bad. its not that i dont have the money to buy a new one, i dont want to spend 240$ if that wont fix the problem... anyone have any idea what it is.???
thanks!
