Code 15 - found the problem, what do i need to do to fix? Melted = Bad
My car died today... prolly about 1/4 mile from my house. Would not start anymore... Well.. after pushing it home, i searched on H-T and found the problem. Code 15 Ignition output signal. I took off my distributor cap and found metal shavings inside. Then upon closer inspection of the distributor, I found this, sorry for the crappy pictures, but what your looking at is behind the rotor on the distributor..
Fresh hole in my distributor cap:
Melting wires behind rotor:
My question is, do i need a whole new distributor? ... UGH..
any help would be great.

either find some dist. internals or buy a complete one. why not just replace the wires in there that were fried
