i have been told the sintered metal stock oil pump gears dont hold up. i havent seen one fail yet, but if you are racing the car constantly, i think it would be a good upgrade. i have also heard that if you run an underdrive crank pulley, there is no harmonic dampening and that will cause it to fail. if anyone has more input, let me know as well. i am a little too far into mine to turn back now but would like to know.

Seems like the stock ones last as long as the good ones. If there is a problem, either one will break equally as quick.
