Default Venom Intake Manifolds

Anyone ever had any experience with Venom Intake Manifolds? Someones selling me one for $80/obo. This is for my 98 Civic EX (d16y8). Im also gonna be boosting it by January. Could you tell me all the bad and good things about this intake manifold? Im scared that it might not be good for my motor and I dont wanna blow it.

The IM won't cause you to blow your motor. If anything, the Venom IM is a very good F/I IM.

well my friend put one on his civic( its a full built b16 wit t3t4: 310 whp), and it didnt have a place for the idle air control, so it was very dificult to daily drive, every time u stoped or slowed down it stalled, so he traded it back to the shop for the jg edelbrok im and that one has a spot for it, but i dont knw if all of there im are missing the aic , maybee they make a full race mani and a semi race mani, if it has a spot for aic id get it unless ur not daily driven it!?!?

I have it on my fully built D16z6 W/ T3T4 Car was just finished built so dont know of the performance yet. But yes no fixtures for the IACV, I didn't want it anyways, due to the fact I live in FL. and My Bored C5 Throttle body had the collant port welded shut. If your intrested B4 I had it on the Car I had a pc machined so I could use the IACV.

So it only stalled because you didnt have a place to put the IAC? I thought that the IACV only has a plug and a few hoses that runs to the engine or somewhere? So are you sure that it was the location of the IAC that made it stall? Maybe bcuz of a loose hose or something?
