tranny is knotchy after the motor warms up
The tranny is a JDM ITR with 4.78 FD. CM flywheel and exedy organic clutch, skunk2 shifter.
The tranny shifts super smooth until the car is warmed up real good and then it has difficulty going into first and second. It becoms very apparent at the road course when I beat on my car for awhile and then come off the course and the tranny will barely get into first.
Anyone ever have similar experiences? Ideas?

from worse to more worse.
use something that will actually protect your gearbox better than oem.

kaaz fluid is designed for clutch type LSDs. The stock ITR diff is a gear type.
A quick search revealed several ITR owners that think that syncromesh is good stuff. Others suggested Motul or just honda OE.

so it is imminent to use an aftermarket tranny fluid if going with an aftermarket lsd? or would oem be sufficient on daily driving and weekend track events? Reason i ask is i might be replacing my lsd in near future and final drive.. just like to know what other materials i need before i do the lil project..

thats my way of seeing it at least. the fluid "binds" or "seperates" when it gets to a certain temp. try a higher temp fluid like he said above^^^^

I put some GM Synchromesh w/ Friction Modified in my itr tranny, and it cured my "high-rpm 4th gear grind" for about 2 months. Since then the grind has come back. I think this fluid does work, just not to my tranny's liking.
