How big of a bottle ?
I know the mix of the gas, and I have searched but I really would like to know if I'm gonna be doing exhaust and other misc stuff at home, how big of a bottle should I pick up ?

I definitely won't be welding every day, so 80. How long will that last if I weld about every weekend or so ?

Then go to a 125; it's not like you can't change your mind you know. Welding shops will usually just let you pay the difference when going to a larger tank. No wasted money. I usually weld a bit every weekend and I use two 125s because it sucks running out of gas and being stuck when the welding store is closed. A backup is great. I'd definitely recommend two tanks regardless, so maybe two 80s would do for you.

But how long will those bottles last you, weeks, months ?

Guess I'm not a normal weekend welder. Two 125s last me nearly a year. It's pointless asking how long the gas will last you. It all comes down to your actual welding time. Everyone will be different. Even a different setting for post-purge will make a big difference.
