Ive never really thought about this, but im going to be running a 3 inch downpipe and a 3 inch thermal r&d exhaust...my question is how are you guys running ur setup? Are you just welding a flange onto your downpipe and bolting the midpipe straight to your downpipe? Or is there a need for a test pipe/hi flow cat to bridge the gap between the two?

 

You will need a flex pipe, Basically the downpipe welded to the flex pipe then a test pipe to the flex pipe then the flange onto the test pipe and connect the test pipe and the thermal together. That how mine is connected...
