Default Leaking Tranny oil... trying to pinpoint the problem

Well a couple of days ago I was driving the R, noticed a odd smell.. got home and checked, things seemed fine... popped the hood and it smelled like burning rubber... but not quite, then pull the R from the driveway to the garage and notice a **** load of oil on the ground.... I had my axles replaced cuz I broke one of them a couple months back, dont know where the tranny oil might be comin out of except that region, perhaps the shop did a half *** job with my car... anyways, thoughts would be appreciated its my daily driver, and I'm stuck with the bravada for now.... its irritating

How about the seals on the tranny where the axles go in.

JDM CTR '00 said what I was going to say, they are cheap and easy to replace, just have to pull the axles out to do it.

Could be that, or possibly that the axle wasn't seated properly when replaced.

Yeah u probably popped an axle out. Crawl under your car and make sure they are in all the way.

This happened to me, popped an axle out going over some railroad tracks a little to fast. Didn't notice for 2 days (pretty much ran the tranny with no fluid), well i did notice, but i was lazy Ended up having to replace all my syncros and now I have to replace my bearings... woops, my bad

I guess you can start with:

1) clutch slave
2) fill hole
3) drain hole
4) clutch master
5) seal for the axles
