Ok I decided to be lazy and pay walmart to do an oil change for me since I moved back to school, and that 15 point inspection crap. Well they said my transmission is leaking oil, vehicle leaking oil and P271 under that. I know how I need to replace some gaskets for the engien cus im about at that 100K mark, but what do I about the transmission leaking???

Im not even gonna ask wtf a P271 is or whats it doing on the comments section.

Well there are two seals where the axles go into the tranny. Maybe its leakin there.

or it could be dist sub assmbly leaking running down looking like its the transmission.see it all the time at work

If is the 2 seals where the axles goto the tranny. How do u fix that? any price est?

pay kragens a visit..i think they have so stuff u can pour in..and since honda tranny s use a 30w oil..u might be a able to find a stop leek u can pour in till u have the time to tear it down
