ne one have rsr with straight pipe. how does it sound
i was thinking of getting a carsound cat but people say that they go bad quite often and i dont feel like dropping 150 on something that goes bad in a couple weeks. i was thinking of getting a straight pipe instead. i got the rsr exmag because it is quiet and i would like to keep it that wayand am wondering if the straight pipe will make it sound raspy. so if ne one out there has the rsr with a straight pipe fill me in. i would also like to know if it will make my bumper get all black from the smog.
ok i didnt have an RSR but i had a mugen system which was quiet at cruising and idle and i fitted a JDM Phase racing staright pipe and it made the exhaust sound raspy and down right horrible. I'd sacrifice the few bhp the test pipe will free up for a nice sounding exhaust in future.
the rs*r gtii is deep and loud, not raspy from what i have heard from other users- sound is probably somewhat comparable to the apexi n1. i know there are a couple itr users that are running one they might be able to help...
I have a RSR ex-mag with a straight pipe. The car is definately louder, but i wouldn't say it's raspy...then again, i got the straight pipe at the same time I got new cams, so it could be either of those contributing to the extra noise?
my buddys got one on a 97 civic with a d16sohc, and it sounds amazing.. loud as a mothgerfucker, but it sounds soo nice i love it
well i had the skunk2 with is basically made by rsr invidia.
I also had a straight pipe and personally loved the sound that it gave off.
but this is with my gsr and i've heard this same setup with a b16 and it was a little raspy
