you should have no valve clearance issues if you have a stock head that has not been milled and depending the advancement of the cam gears...

compression will be ~12.2:1 with B18c5 block and PR3 head with stock headgasket

the spoon HG is not necessary, stock would be ideal

.25 overbore would depend on the condition of your cylinder walls

if it is the first time tearin down the motor, you will prolly be okay with STD bore

not a bad way to bump the compression, but make sure you have the fuel to support that increased compression

are you refering to fuel pump or injector???

Id say he was reffering to the actual fuel, and not a specific fuelpart. He'd need premium unleaded to go with that. I run my post 12:1s on 98Oct.

You can run the 2 layer HG with the ctr pistons and you will not have any problems, compression will just be slightly higher than if you were running the oem head gasket. I had ctr pisons with a pr3 head milled 20k and had no problems whatsoever, though I was employing a J&S as a cheap insurance policy...g luck

You are aware of the fact that the CTR pistons in addition to a Spoon headgasket and high comp. valves will bump you up to a little over 13:1 CR? So what octane gas do you plan on using? One reason for the increase in CR is the fact that the CTR pistons have a compression height of 30.25mm while the stock ITR pistons is at 30mm.
Valve clearance should always be checked by claying the engine when using different pistons, you will also know for sure how much the cam gears can be advanced or retarded without running into problems.

B18C block/PR3 head stock bore = 12.58
.25 over = 12.65

Add to this ~ 0.25 for the gasket and about the same for the valves and you have gone beyond 13:1.

Look at this if you don't beleive me : https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=717928

I was thinking about getting ride of the spoon head gasket and keeping the valves i am running hondata right now and also i just put in a new short block with like 8k on it if i get the standard boar do i have to bring the block to get honed or anything?

I was thinking i want to make around 12.5 comp the ctr pistions and high comp valves should get me there?

CTR pistons alone in an otherwise stock B18C5 engine will get you the CR i posted, i.e. slightky over 12.5:1.

Your valves will bump it up to ~ 12.8.

with this set up (CTR pistons Stock ITR engine) pump gas should be fine ??? (93oct) with a 12.5:1 compression. And does anyone have any dyno info on this that shows the difference in stock and CTR pistons?......okay ill search now.....lol
not to jack the thread but im looking into doing the same to my engine.

93 octane will work if your tuner dials back the timing

12.5:1 seems kinda high...Sgt used to quote the CR as 11.6:1 - Stock ITR w/CTR pistons.

not true 93 or higher is fine. I ran a 12:1 setup for over a year on 93 octane never had any detonation problems what so ever

Its more like 12:1 -12:3:1, CTR pistons in a GSR motor is 12:5:1

its over 12, he never said it being 11:6:1, because id nail my compression tester needle well past the 300psi mark, 11:5:1, would net you 240-260 psi

If CTR pistons are make too much with 2 layer head gasket, would the JDM ITR pistons be a better combination. I need to rebuild my motor this winter and was considering CTR pistons or going with JDM ITR pistons and a thinner head gasket. I only want to get near 11.5:1?
