Default How to wire relay to disable ignition sensor on alarm?

I'm trying to install a car starter. How do I go about disabling an alarm so the car starter can function without the alarm going off? On the supplied instructions, it says something about using a relay to accomplish this...does anybody have a detailed wiring diagram of how I should hook up a relay to do this?

Thanks

if im reading your question right, you are trying to add remote start?? and want to disable your ignition sensor so when you activate your remote start the alarm will not go off? all you have to do is tap off any of the wires that provide a 12v signal when the remote start is activated, connect that lead to 85 on a relay, 86 on the relay will go to ground( if your remote start provides a negative signal when activated, hook 85 to the neg signal, and 86 to 12v. Now cut your alarm ignition wire. The side going to the key connect to 30, and the side going to the alarm connect to 87a. There should be one unused terminal on the relay 87. Hope this helps.

Thanks alot...so I should connect the accessory (12v when car is on or a wire off of the starter brain) wire to lead 85 on the relay, cut the alarm ignition sensor wire and place the relay in between....right?
