The stereo died, the gauges lights are weak now? I believe its a shortage is there a way to fix this? If so please help thanks

 

Does your car still crank or even start?

Why don't you check all your fuses instead of freaking out

 

everything works just the lights seem to be weaker Checked every single fuse none blown

 

Have you checked the fuse under your hood?

 

done that, every fuse in the bottom steering wheel checked hood checked? is there any more fuses?

 

check your under hood fuse box, I had this problem and the fuse was in the under hood fuse box, it was a 7.5A fuse called Back Up, let me know if this was your problem as well.

 

it still works, i replaced every fuse to new ones

battery?

 

sounds like your battery is getting weak, time for a replacement.

 

Clean your battery terminals with a wire brush...some baking soda and water helps too. worked for me. Usually dim lights are a grounding issue.

if it was the battery it wouldnt crank too well and the battery doesnt run the car.all the battery does is start the car and make use of the stereo and crap when the car is off.what powers all that stuff when you are driving? the alternator...if you are driving and the lights get dim and the radio goes off...its your alternator...i assume

 

could it be from a system i had hooked up? i had a amp hooked up under my seat and i took it off last week then after that i had these problems, what could have happened?
