wuts the problem? car wont start...
okay got a b18c motor and jus changed the distributor to a real gsr distributor, prior to that i had a ghetto rigged ls distributor on it with an external msd coil, changed it to a gsr distributor with an internal coil from a sohc dx motor...i posted earlier if the internal coils of the dx and gsr were the same but didnt get a straight answer...
so i'm driving on the highway and i press on the gas but it doesnt respond, immediately after the car does and wont start.....checked for spark by placing a screw driver near the end of the spark plug wire and no spark.... car was running fine for a week ont he new distributor...so i go home come back and pop in the old distributor and it starts right up....
so is it the coil, or the whole distributor? what other components in the distributor should i check? thanks alot

icm = internal coil? if so how would i test it? and what fuses do i need to check?
the used gsr distributor i put on jus gave up but my old one that i replaced worked fine with an external msd coil...reason why i changed it was cuz the old one was a bootlegged ls distributor and i wantd to clean my motor up with a real gsr one so that everything loooks stock....

i tested the first spark plug wire...cap and rotor are brand new..jus put the gsr distributor in last week....
the question stands: does anyone know if the internal coil of the gsr and a sohc non vtec motor the same? if not i think i know my answer....thanks guyz for the replies
