help, i'm throwing a code 10 after S2 IM install
the IAT sensor wouldn't reach so i cut it and jerry rigged it back together. it's throwing a IAT code.
the car won't start, well it will sometimes, but i have to hold down the throttle for it not to die. sounds real hesitant. what should i be on the look for besides the ordinary vacuum leak?

yea the sensor ate ****, it caught on fire.
it had 2 positives running to it.....there's a plug that looks just like the one i used that i'm going to try when i get a new sensor.
it's hesitating like hell, shooting black smoke. is that because it's in limp mode?

don't feel bad, I fried my JDM p73 when installing the S2 manifold on mine...
had to extend the IACV wires, for some reason, didn't insulate them good, they shorted out and took the ECU down with it... Took me a whole month off and on to figure out the root of the problem, fixed the wiring, swapped the ECU worked perfectly afterwards.
Expensive mistake... next time disconnect the battery when doing anything electrical on the car, make sure wiring is done right and most of all take your time to ensure everything is done with care.
