Default Ticky tocky engine

I went to go and get my motor checked out and the dude said that my Valve neeed adjustment. But he doesn't have the time..i was wondering, will there be any damage if i rode my car even tho the Valve is loose. Can i Drive my car Hard..(2000 b16). Because i don't know if this ticking is Serious or not...

Any comments appreciated!!!

I cant remember what happens, i think you loose compression or something, but if you keep riding like that it would turn out really bad in the end, atleast i was told. Whenever i hear a ticking noise and its my valves i do an adjustment ASAP.
