The slider that selects the hot vs cold is not working right. I can see the problem but need to see a pic of one that works right. There is that big arm that connects to a cable then the cable controls the temperature. My cable is not sitting stationary where the rubber outside of the cable attaches to the climate control. So when I push the slider either way the whole cable housing moves instead of just the cable.

Can anyone post a pic of theirs? (bottom of the climate control)???

there should be a metal clip holding the cable in place down under the dash. i dont have a pic handy but im thinking maybe yours broke off???? if you go on the passenger side and look down under the dash you should see where the cable connects to a lever looking thing. slide that into the opposite position of what it is in now and see if it blows hot air then. on my beater i used to just slide it to the hot position and then use the fan to control how hard the heat would blow. when it would start to warm up, i just slid it back to the cool position.

Nope, that cable has not broken off from there, it is where the cable connects to the actual climate control, it keeps popping out. Need pic of one that works!!! (Bottom of the climate control)
