Default Knock sensor in D16Z6 block - anyone done it?

Well i'm finished my all motor D16 build with 12.25:1 compression. Now, I'm using a Y8 head but Z6 block so there is no "stock spot" for knock sensor. Searching i've found only a few threads where maybe the stocker was tapped into a alternator braket hole.

My question is are there any aftermarket/chevy/volvo/etc. knock sensors that people have used?

Aftermarket would be great but even browsing google i can't find much for honda's let alone a Z6.

Thanks guys,

Vince

Anything that can detect knock out of the CC, through the coolant channel

So i could use one of the coolant plugs on front/back of block? as long as it's sealed of course?

HAHA thanks PHiZ...that friend is ME! I might just have a bung welded on the back of the block...and maybe go for an aftermarket/upgraded KS.

We'll see,
