Shifting Wheel Jump
So I have a problem with wheel hop (or so I think) in my EJ7. It's stock engine-wise and lowered on some Tanabe Super Down Precedos. Tires are kinda sucky, but I don't think that's my problem here.
When I rev high and do a hard track-type shift the entire car jumps and my steering wheel pulls right like the entire front end is coming off the ground, which couldn't happen in a FWD car (at least I think). I searched all this and could only come up with a basic wheel hop when shifting due to shitty tires and all that. Has anyone had something like this happen and how did you go about correcting it?

my car is the same but i got lsd and a lot of power
wheel hop sucks big time. shitty tires too.
i would check engine mounts and see whats up and suspension bushings

ok torque steer is when one wheel gets more power than other wheel which causes pull to one side. if you dont rev it high and shift quick it wont do it but if you are like me and thats how you drive then you will get used to it. wheel hop is when you dump the clutch and the whole car shakes like it is falling apart. to fix that rev higher then dump clutch or dont rev up as high or let clutch out slower

And what are the condition of your struts - a blown strut will allow wheel hop because the shock is not damping any longer.

That would probably be it...
