i think you have a ground issue. make sure your grounds are tight and in order. you may have a starter issue as well, but before you beat on it with a hammer, make sure the grounds are in order. and i am not kidding about the hammer. it is a quick way to diagnose a starter.
I had that problem with a CRX I used to own. So I put it in gear and pushed it till it started, well of course someone was in the drivers seat. The problem never came back, but i doubt you have the same problem.
yeah i did the hammer thing on the old one, i just installed the new one today and its still doing the same thing as before... so ill scratch that one off the list... for now... is the noise insede the dash normal though???
the noise may be your main relay clicking. if you dint have the grounds correct, it may be opening and closing because there isnt enough grounds to support it.
y think i just felt something in my head click.... no, novermind.... but that makes a lot of sence... too much sence actually.... ill try it all out tomorrow... thanx a lot dude

just a note , when you turn the key slow it freaks out your main relay and makes the noise you are hearing (a.k.a. normal condition per HONDA) there is a service news about it. as for the no start i had the same thing happen to me on my old integra that i relocated the battery to the back on (i forgot to ground the engine to the body ) check voltage at the starter battery terminal try using the engine as a ground if it reads 12.xx volts you have a good ground if it doesn't then you need to check you grounds
replace the positive battery cable. check the solenoid connections too.
you have a bad connection, you bought a starter and battery for nothing.

as everyone said, check the wire terminals. one problem may be that the ground wire from battery to frame may be corroded. if you have a mutlimeter measure the following things: resistance between ground terminal of the battery and ground terminal of the starter, and the same for the +12 terminals. next, measure the voltage across the battery after the car has sat for an hour without running. this will measure the voltage the battery has as constant storage.
well the starter and battery had a warranty so it was free so no problem with that only lost the time to do the work.... anyways as i was looking through the bay i noticed my back motor mount bolt is halfway out... so that gives me 2 projects to do this weekend... fun stuff, once again thanx for all the help
