I bought a new powder coated valve cover. Today I went to swap it on but I cannot get the old cover to come off. I pull on it like a **** and the whole car moves but the cover wont budge. And yes, all the nuts have been removed

Anyone know the best way to get these things off?

 

get a rubber mallet and hit it gently on the sides to break the seal.

or use a flat head screw driver to pry it open

 

yeah make sure all the nuts are off too...some can be overlooked. look again

 

use a small flat screwdriver to try and pry it up gently

 

I got it off. Gave er the ol' rubber mallet and then the screw driver.
