HELP 2000 SI makes noise
I recently bought a 2k civic si, 52kmiles, butttttttt it just started making a noise. When i let the clutch out you hear a few clicks from each side of the car, sounds like ping pong ***** lol, and then you press the gas pedal and it makes the same noises again. this seems like the only time it makes this noise, i tought i heard it before when i went over some bumps but it may of not been that. Just curious thats guys
So when you push the clutch in, the noise goes away? Is it only under acceleration, or when you rev in nuetral? It could be a tranny bearing or an axle.
Could be your Axles. (?) Check the axles for the grease leaking or something like that. Is it while you are turning or while going straight? I know my car does kind of the same thing while in a slow tight turn and letting go of the clucth, but I know my axles are going a lil bad already. Just get under the car and check I guess.
Good Luck !
Good Luck !
It doesnt make noise into turns. doesnt contantanly make it, its makes click click click from each side of the car at different times only when i let the clutch out all the way and soon as its out it stops, only does it like 2-3 times for a second, then when i hit the gas after im in gear it does the same thing and then goes away until my next shift. very odd cant figure it out? help
