Default pressure washing/steam cleaning engine bay...

should i take any other precautions for the s2k that i may not have used on any other cars? i know i should never ever take it through a automatic car wash, or pressure wash the exterior (cuz it could damage the top) but i'm thinking if i cover up alternator, starter etc....it should be fine.

The dirt and grime will come off easier if the engine bay is warm.

I use a pressure washer in the engine bay and exterior. Just keep the spray away from the weatherstripping/rubber sealants. You'll see where you want to keep the spray away in the engine bay, electrical points, etc etc
