i need some help my car wont start it ran fine up untill today its a stock 95 civic coupe. the story is my engine and engine bay was dirty and ive been wanting to clean it so my friend said spray it with a degreaser and pressure wash it so i asid why not so today he came over and we popped the hood and covered the distributr with a bag and the wires were they connect into the harness. then we put degreaer on the motor and the bay and pressure washed it it came out good and i liked it so we started it up and every thing was fine. finnaly he left it was about 8:30 and my dad asked me to go to the store so i hop in my car go up the street stop at a stop sign and then it just stalled on me by itself and then it wouldnt start after that i ran home got my brother and pushed the car back home i took a look at it and had my brother try starting the car and nothing the only thing i smell is a faint sent of gas.. nedd help!!!!

Well did the degreaser seep into the alternator by any slim chance? Because you know, when a greased up moving part gets DEGREASED... It tends to not work so well

Just check that... If that is not it, check your vaccum lines, maybe that water traveling at high speeds knocked one or two loose.
