Default turbo?

looking for some more power outta my wife's car. i was wondering if there are any bolt up turbos for a 99 accord lx. i read a rumor that a dsm manifold and turbo will bolt up relatively easy to the honda engine, any truth to this?
thanks,
mike

search for a kit if you want to make things easy, and dont mind paying a bit more. if her car has an automatic tranny dont even bother.

DSM exhaust mani only works on 4th gen accords, and thats after some mild modification.

if ur interested, i'm offering my whole turbo setup for $3,000. this is a drag turbo kit, with adj. fpr & dsm 450's/resistor box, AEM EMS & AEM wideband, 3 bar map sensor. EMS has a calibration that will allow 17psi of boost on the stock block, at least that is what i was running on my stock block. or i can provide my cals that allowed me 209whp/221wtq @8.4psi.

if interestd in kit alone minus the AEM EMS, wideband, and 3 bar map sensor, $1,800 with ur intake and exhaust manifold....i could give a rats *** if its stock or aftermarket i'm not firm on this tho. pm me if interested or email me @ b_ron007@yahoo.com

yeah, back to the topic.......

theres only 2 kits offered for the 98-02 accords......that would be F-max and Drag. you'd be looking at 3,399 for F-max and 3,299 for Drag.

FYI......AEM EMS run at least 1,200 brand new, thats not including the wideband, AEM wideband go for at least 250, GM 3bar map go for 75 brand new not including harness.

i get pretty much stock gas mileage on my setup but the abilty to run with some of the big V8's on the highway. on 15psi i managed to stay right on the *** of a TA, he couldn't pull on me never got to setup to do a real ide-by-side run. on 10psi i hang side-by-side with MACH1's on the highway. start building boost by 1,800rpms, max boost of 16psi by 3,700rpms theres good power gained for everyday driving, and when the a/c is on, power lost isn't a problem any more.

If done right a custom setup would be good. My only problem was that my fabber was a scammer and fucked up my car so I'm just selling it later. Anyone want turbo parts they can check me out. Nice Apex'i IC, etc.

i've had it before, ditch the mf2 controller and get something like hondata for fuel management, you can tell them you want the kit without the fuel system upgrade, and they will knock down the price for you

or u can buy my setup for $3,000 shipped.

AEM EMS is the other route to engine management for the 98-02 accords. for Hondata, u'll have to convert to OBD1 and do some modding for the IAC valve.
the possiblities are endless with the AEM EMS, hondata can't even match what the EMS can do , i'm not bashing on hondata, but theres soo much you can do with the AEM EMS, not to mention its a plug and play affair

f-max fuel system sucks! bout the timing management, its not the best either. i know of at least 3 people that have toasted their engines on the (accord)F-max kit. its all about controlling the fuel and timing and not putting out more power then ur engine can handle.
