my step dad was wanting to know...cause he has 2 crx's that he uses for dirt track racing...one is a 91 the other is a 87..he had a 4 speed in the 91 that way he didnt ever have to shift and he could just pay more attention to the race...i dont know he licked it better that way. now he wants a 4 speed for the 87 so he can do the same in it

Thats wild! Got any pics?

One way to find the gear ratios is to turn the input shaft and count the turns on the axle. That won't tell you each ratio though, just overall ratios. Come on, someone must know!

Cept it's not.

No one bothers with those trannys, they're the black sheep of honda's drivetrain. Good someone found a use for them though. He can probably get them for nothing.

i have one disassembled in the garage ('90 4spd STD). I can count the teeth tonight if you want and calculate gear ratios. I'll let you know now the final drive is the same as a DX/LX, becaused I counted teeth, and used the diff to replace a busted DX one.

So far, I've used parts from it to repair 2 Si trannys, and a DX...

So they're not completely useless....
