ok my friend is pulling a wiring harness for me for my b18b which is going into my 92 cx hatch, he said he pulled the engine harness but hes wondering if I need the harness that goes from the engine bay thru the firewall and hooks up to the ecu, he also has pulled the ecu, im confused,because i used to own a nissan and it was just straight wiring thru the firewall, no disconnecting it outside the firewall. so basically i just need to know what parts of the harness i need

 

You'll need the engine harness only. OBDI / OBDII B18B engine harnesses plug directly into the underhood subharnesses of the 92-95 Civics.


What year is the motor you are swapping in the CX? Is the ECU he pulled OBDI or II?

 

obd 1 , but that is coming from a separate car, he got the motor from a 94 er 95 auto 4dr teg, that was rear ended,not even that bad, an old lady had turned it into them, only has 85k on it
