Default d-serise greddy manifold

hello everybody

is it possible that a greddy manifold will crack?

is it fixable ?

if cracked, yes it can be fixed

buts is a long process

the manifold needs to bea heated and maintain there for like 20 minutes

weld while it hot
, mantain the temperature, and after welded, during the next 12 hrs, slowly decrease the temp until is all good

Does it really need to be heated for 12 hours? The only reason the cast cools at a different speed is because of the air bubbles, right? I've seen a local welder weld a cast manifolds (mine) with a furnace and a torch. He heated the manifold up really hot, pulled it out, welded it it really quick and tossed it back in the furnace, then let it cool down in the furnace. Didn't take 12 hours. The weld worked
