Default can i put a y8 head on a ZC block?

i just aquired a fully built ZC block. I have an extra y8 head and i was wondering if this sorta mix/match setup will work. i have a 96 civic coupe converted to obd1..if that helps...

searched...to bad the search option doesnt allow me to use the word zc because it only has two letters...so yea....i couldnt find anything...anyone got a link for me, or sum info?

im not sure wut kind of differance it will make, but i thought id try it out since i have the fully built block in my possesion.

supposedly, the z6 head flows a little better and the y8 manifold flows better. Unless you messed up your head and need a replacement, dont worry about changin them

i have heard that if i put my y8 head on the ZC block it will mess up my timing and my car wont run right at all. ???????????????????????????

yes it will fit, will it make a hp diff hardly any, if on an eg you will need to change the intake mani since the head is an obd2 and an eg is an obd1
