omnipower owners, i have a question!
Do you think the omnipower shocks with a different brand of springs (eibach/h&r/tein) would be a improvement over the omnipower coilovers?

No fair, you're not an Omnipower owner.

improvment? well if you went with something like an hypercoil or Eibach spring you wouldn't see sag, and you would know the spring rates would be more accurate.
now, i don't know anything about the omni power springs but these two springs makers above have been proven time and time again

i dont have the coilovers but i would say no....
i would think that the springs that come on there would be specifically calibrated for that shock,or vice versa..... and would not yield better performance if you changed them....
thats just my thoughts...

I think he wants BETTER springs. I dunno why he threw Tein in there though there spings SUCK.

Correct. If you combined a better brand name spring with similiar spring rates with the omnipower shocks, would this yield better results?
Tein H-Tech springs are good springs, I'm not sure about the rest of their line up.

What exactly is it you are trying to accomplish? Which Omnipowers did you buy that you think you need to improve?
You need to contact either the manufacturer or the retailer from whom you bought them.
Within a narrow range up and down, the Omnipower dampers are designed fairly closely for the spring rates he sells with the dampers. Going too much up or down could have bad results and unfortunate consequences, no matter how well built the dampers are.

Hmmm. Weird.
I have a set of Omnipower here with me, and from looking at the springs and the markings on them, and assuming that his coilovers have the same springs or same make springs on them, I really wouldn't even think about it.

Exactly my thoughts. What do you (the threadstarter) think a different brand spring would do better? (given the same length, diameter and rate)

Careful there, Chris.
You're almost being agreeable.
