Im not sure if this is the right forum but ive got a question open for anyone who can help.
Someone broke in my car last week and stole my vafc and now my car will bearly idle. and when i try to drive it the motor sounds like its sputtering or maby even mis-firing. I have no idea what is wrong i have made sure the wires aren't touching each other. I was just wondering if someone could give me a quick fix until I can get my new controller in so I can at least drive my car and get a new window.

I have a 90 crx si with a jdm b16 swap just so you know what motor and ecu and everything.

did you reconnect the wires you cut for the vafc? like the MAP?

 

the wires were just tapped into the lines they didnt use a specific harness to connect it into the ecu

 

i haven't had experience with the vafc...but i know with the safc you cut the MAP sensor wire and then connect the 'in' and 'out' through the SAFC...i would asume the same with the VAFC...and probably the same with the vtec....not sure though

 

anyone happen to know which wire the map sensor wire would be?
