Default B18A swap question

Hey all I am new here. Just got a quick question. Would it be a good idea to swap a B18A into a 2000 Civic? I know that one is obd1 and the other is obd2. Would it be possible to make the B18A obd2 or would that be a waste of time? Only reason I ask is cause one of my friends is selling a complete swap for cheap.
Any input will be appreciated. Thank You.

You can get an OBDII --> OBDI conversion harness and run that engine.

Actually, a B18A is an OBD-0 engine. You should be able to swap it into an OBD-2 Civic and can either use an OBD-1 ECU with a conversion harness or leave it OBD-2. There were B18B's in OBD-2 Integras.
