First swap = quick question.
K so my friends drives like a 92 Da with a B18a engine, and hes swapping it out for a b20/vtec project. Now i am buying the b18a. I want to swap it into my 2000 dx coupe. I heard its supposed to be like a Super Easy swap but im still nervous as this is my first swap and im doing it by myself. My question is not about hardware or anything, but about wiring. I heard even though my harness is obd2 i can still hook it up to the engine by extending a few wires and doing the 2 wire iacv conv. and then use an obd1 non-vtec ecu. is it really that simple or am i just dreaming its that simple...?

ya believe it or not but everything will plug up..since ur car is Obd2 it will have a few plugs that dont go to anything bcuzz obd0 and obd1 motors doesnt have those sensors..if u plan on running a obd2 ecu then YES u will need to hook those left over plugs up or go obd1 and u will be ok..just get a obd2B to obd1 ecu jumper harness and run a obd1 LS ecu(p75 i think)
