Note: I did search but came up with a lot of partial answers. Most of the threads covered before were talking soley about wiring harnesses or conversion harnesses to the other ECU. My question is totally different.

I am planning on buying a 2001 Acura Integra Ls swap in a few weeks. With this being a complete swap (Motor, Tranny, ECU, Wiring harness, Axles, Shift linkage, etc.) at a fair price, it seems to be the perfect upgrade from my single cam. I am hesitant to buy it though because it is an OBD2 swap that I am putting into my OBD1 1994 Civic Dx Sedan. My question is, with the complete swap being put in (wiring harness, ECU, OBD2 alternator and dizzy, etc.), will I need to modify anything because my car is OBD1? Or will everything just fall into place because EVERYTHING else is OBD2.

first off, use the hearness off of your car or you in for a world of hurt. (only saying that because i am not sure 100% if it will work. and it sux rewiring an engine in the car)

i know somewhere there is a thread for re pinning the alternator.
msd makes a dizzy adapter. you are better suited running an obd1 ls ecu. other than that, you dont need to even hook up the CKF sensor, everything else should be good to go. the evap purge is a little different but can be phenagled to work.

Yeah, most people are telling me to use my harness and injectors and get an OBDI P75. For the dizzy adapter, I am thinking about going with the on rywire makes (http://rywire.com/store/obd2-bseries...cd27affe300834). I think that is the one I want but im not completely sure. Any one had any product experience with this? Also, I have no clue how to go about rewiring my alternator. Anyone with any experience with this aswell? Thanks for the help guys

Just convert everything over to OBD1.. I put a 99 GSR motor into my 92 hatch, and I converted the motor over to OBD1 by changing :

Injectors
Dizzy
Alt.
Engine harness
ECU


I had to get an OBD1 engine harness cuz my hatch came with no motor... So use your injectors and engine harness , get the dizzy adapter and get a OBD1 P75 and you should be good to go.

I understand everything but the alt. How did you repin it? or which one did you buy?

I'm doing this right now too, but I don't have the obd1 harness in my new car, but my donor car has everything in it. Can I just use the obd2 harness from the donor?

I don't mean to hijack or anything, I've just been searching and I can't seem to find a straight answer. Everyone just keeps saying to covert all the parts to obd1, but that seems like a hassle if I already have everything.
