Default 12" alpine type r VS JL w3

I want to know which one I should go with, also anyone know where I can get my eclipse deck repaired I think I fried it thanks.

i would have to say the type r my best friend had two of them in his celica with a fosgate 1000.1 on them and they were the best sounding subs i have heard in a long time, they do take alot of air space though
