Default B18A block help!!!!!!!!!! broken!!!!!!!!

hey whats up guys I have a b18a block and I noticed that one of the water pump bolts is broken off inside the block. how do I fix this?? is my block shot or can this be tapped out and fitted with another size bolt? what can I do? Im kinda nervous, I was going to be sleeving this block to 84mm for my new setup. Any help is always appreciated. Thanks

Either drill it and get a broken screw extractor, or let the machine shop do it. Not really a big deal.

Just have the machine shop extract it when you get it sleeved. We broke a water pump bolt off in a b18c1 block and we attempted to "drill and extract" it and the extractor broke inside the bolt .

Yeah, I've had mixed success with extractors. I mean, the bolt broke off in there because it's stuck, so...

I did same thing, Just drilled it out and put a big bolt in it. 20k miles later still holdin. had to bore hole out in waterpump as well. But that was the ghetto way of doing it.

so just stick with bringing it in to the machine shop huh? As long as this is not seen as a major issue, I guess Im ok then. Thanks everyone
