Default throwin a code 9...won't rev past 3500

just as title states...my d16z6 motor is throwin a code 9 (cylinder sensor) and it won't rev past 3500, and also my number one cylinder injector is not firing. It's also throwin an injector code but i was thinkin that this was becuase of the code 9?? I just recently replaced my distributor with a rebuilt one because that one had a bad TDC sensor. Car ran fine right after i installed the new distributor but now it's just being gay. Should i just go buy an OEM distributor? thanks in advance

You can't just slap a distributor back on. It needs to be tuned.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM W/ MY '94 EG COUPE EX. I WAS MESSING W/ THE
TIMING COVER AND FOR SOME REASON I WAS ABLE TO PULL THE CONNECTOR
TO #1 CYLINDER INJECTOR. I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS UNTIL I WAS IN THE
CAR TRYING TO DRIVE WHEN I NOTICE IT ONLY REV TO 3500. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON BUT I NEVER CHECK TO SEE WHAT CODE IT WAS. WENT TO CHK UNDER THE HOOD AND FOUND #1 INJECTOR CONNECTOR WAS
UNPLUG. CONNECTED BACK IN PLACE AND THE CHK ENG LIGHT DISAPPEAR AFTER YOU DO A KEY CYCLE(TURN IT ON THEN OFF). PLUS IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT, ITS THE ONLY SENSOR(KIND OF CRUDE) THERE IS ON THE #1 CYLINDER.

well today the injector code went away and now it revs past 3500, but the code 9 is still there....so i guess its not the code 9 that was doin this. I must have a bad connection somewhere with my injector then.
