chances are the chip will make you run lean and boom , or run so rich you gonna burn stuff up along with your mileage. If you have a Vtec engine use a VAFC, if you have a non Vtec engine use SAFC. Use the FMU with the AFC. You can also look into whats called and injector hack. You best bet though is Hondata. There are also a few other thing you may want to look into that are free but require to purchase things to make them work such as Chips and chip burners.

If its a sohc engine that look in to turboEdit
If its a Dohc look into Uberdata

Both are very much like hondata, but free your going to HAVE to be OBD1 though.

obd0 ..Use turboedit(free)..
obd1 ..Use Uberdata(free)..or Hondata($$$$$$$$$$)..

dont get a generic chip off ebay because those chips advance timing...And u dont want advanced timing with a turbo becasue you will detonate..
And they also make u run crazy rich..
FMU's are ok for low boost low HP applications..
Same with the vafc/safc ..they are good for low boost
Best thing is to get either uberdata, turboedit, chrome and some 450cc injectors..
But if you plan on having low boost then a fmu or afc will be fine..

hey

thanks guys but chip burners are impossible to find in new zealand and cost big $$$ to import

i have 450cc injectors installed and big fuel pump
car runs but when i hit boost it cuts out and car dies

so if i install FMU
and install the afc

only them 2 things

will it run boosting pretty good?

or do i need some sort of edited chip?

thanks heaps

will nobody ship to NZ? shipping freight can't be that much can it? you can get a willems burner on ebay for like $55 US + shipping to NZ.....

PGMFI.org is the best place to research this stuff IMO

That chip will more than likley add *** loads of fuel & timing, and will certainly not be optimized for your setup. I suggest at least reading http://www.pgmfi.org, or http://www.ecimulti.org/uberdata/forum for some info if you have free time. At least you will get a better understanding....You can probably get a better chip from them as well....
