Default Going turbo?

Im about to put a turbo on my B16a Crx and was wondering if it is safe to keep motor stock if boosting to only 8psi? Also want to know what extra parts are needed.... i have a tubular manifold, t3/t4 turbo with downpipe and charge pipe with fmic, also have a tial 35 mm wastgete and greddy BOV. I have a vortech FMU and also a aeromotive FPR and a Apexi VAFC, Crane hi-6 ignition with msd cap. So really my question is , is there anything else i really need?? like check valves or injectors like dsm 450's im already running 310cc's.....

thanx in advance

Default Re: Going turbo? (90crxzcgasd)

well for one search will answer 99% of your questions.

you can either use the 310's and the fmu with a 6:1 or 8:1 fmu.
Or use the 310's with a 8:1 fmu and the v-afc to fine tune it. or ditch the fmu and get the 450's and run the hack.
I'm using the fmu (4:1) and sfc route for my fuel control, it works good for me. I have relativly low fuel pressure(for using a fmu) and my afr is pretty consistent (12.0:1 +/- .02)

Wouldn't do more than 7psi on the B16. Need Missing Link or check valves, would also need Ohm resistor box of going anything over 440s. S-AFC would be a start, but can go Hondata or something stronger later if you wish.
