yes you have to convert to mpfi, you have to run all four injectors on the b16 I have a conversion harness for the fuel injectors so you can run your lx harness. with this injector harness all you have to do is tap into two wires on the engine harnesss and you are ready to go.

That last link is (in my opinion) the best one ever made. It's the easiest one to follow too!

Hi I have an 88 civic hatch I'm wanting to do a mpfi swap on I have an obd 0 wireing harness for an 88 crx si do i still need to splice wires and add pins for the ecu when I get it... And also I was wondering what would be the best ecu for this I intend on adding a turbo to it later down the road I'm not looking for a major power increase just looking for a fun street car build

Keep the harness that came in your car. Use the Si harness as a donor for plugs. The Si harness will not just plug into a DPFI equipped car, and it's much more difficult to make that work. You are still going to have to extend wires and run new wires. If you are wanting to turbo the car down the road, you're better off converting to OBD1 now. Alternatively, you could find a PM6 ECU and run OBD0 for now and then just buy an OBD1 ECU and jumper harness when you are ready for turbo.
