quick questoin.on my 90 crx. i just open up my head cylinder today. and when i got to check out the camshaft. it broke in half. now my question is, my friend got a 89 honda civic sedan (4drs). he use that car as parts, and i bought a camshaft from him. i spend my afternoon trying to replace my old camshaft wit this new one. but the thing is that. when i put on the timing belt. it wont fit.i compare my old cam gear wit this one, the old one seem lil bit smaller than this one. what do i do to make it fit and run again? thank you

 

if the old one was broken you will have to break the new one to make it fit.

 

sorry had to.. either get the right size cam gear or get a different size timing belt.

 

the shalf should be the same size... means just put the old gear off and put it on the new one.

 

yeah man just change the cam gear
