is this a way to fix the quarter panel?

i've heard about this too. it obviously takes some work, but i've heard people say to fix a rear quarterpanel, you can use the front fender from the opposite side (like a front passenger fender to fix the driver side quarterpanel) because they're relatively the same shape.
I can't even imagine the work that would be involve, I don't even want to think about it.
I kind of know what you mean, the best bet is to go to a junk yard and cut out a nice piece of the quarter panel or you can buy them new. There not that much new actually.

Where from?
Where from?
I can see it *possibly* working if the rusted spot in question is more in the "middle" of the arch, but most of our cars rust at the front and back corners, and there's really gonna be no replacement for that, coming from a front fender.
