so i dont need to raise the car, so that the front weight will compensate the wheels with the strut bar

Make sure your car is on a level surface.

no.... DO raise the car....ur struts will NOT fall off as they are still attatched at other points (knuckle and fork). just raise the front when u install.

this way you can pre-load the bar and it will be more effective.

I have the Arospeed front strut bar. No reason to raise the car, just take the three nuts off on each side, put the strut bar on the bolts and put the nuts back on.

Actually what does the pre-load do, should i reinstall it your way?

do you raise it all the way so that the wheels will be hanging? or just raise it enough to get the load off the wheels?

when the car is on the ground....the chassis is somewhat squatted\flexed.....when it is raised, the stress on the front is taken out. So installing the bar in while it is in the air will result in a more effieciently installed brace.

just raise it enough to get the load off the wheels....
