Anyone ever bought a b16a2 and had an lsd tranny? **BIG PROBLEM PLEASE HELP**
My friend bought a b16a2 from total-jdm.com. Overpriced but everything seemed to be working out ok. He did a full rebuild and a turbo that is being pieced together shortly. The problem lies in the axles. The bearing on the spindle was too small for the new axles. This should have been a first clue to them not being the right ones but he thought they would all work with new spindles. So he went out and bought accord spindles and was going to use those. I had some free time so I decided to help out a bit. I started putting it on and the lower ball joint would not reach, the axle looked completely in the tranny and the spindle. As I looked closer (assuming that he had checked) I compared this new axle with one of the old ones off of his D15. It was considerably longer. I concluded that they were the wrong axles. But currently I have no idea why they would be wrong. What cars did the b16a2 come in where is the axles would be a different size. So none the less he now has to try to return these accord spindles and get the right axles.
Lastly I would just like to say that total-jdm.com pretty much sucks. They made a average install pretty difficult. And it also cost him 2800.00 shipped for the engine. Slightly overpriced IMO.
But after all is said in done he still does not know what to do. So it boils down to the fact that his axles are wrong, we do not know why, or where to get the right ones(he cut the olds ones becuase the axles bolts did not come loose
). If anyone can help or give an inkling to what may have happened please say something. Its his problem but I would really like to be able to help him.

92-00 civic with a B series motor can use any 94-01 integra axel or 99-00 civic SI axel.
I always just get a 1994 Integra RS axel. It doesn't have ABS and neither does my car so it makes everything easy.

and jdm motors are not b16a2 if it is then it is a usdm motor and you should still use teg axles

JDM motors do not have 2 behind the b16a only the us delsol and 99 si have that 2 behind the b16a

you are an idiot
there are b16a1 (jdm obd 0 160hp), b16a2 (usdm obd 2 160hp, and jdm obd 1 and obd 2 170 hp), b16a3 (usdm del sol), b16b (CTR motor jdm obd 2 180hp?).
