sup i have a 1993 civic hatchback cx and im planning to put in a b16a2 from a 99 civic si...but i have some questions...

1) will the stock eg motor mounts hold the b16a2 in place or do i need new ones? will the civic si motor mounts fit in my bay?
2) my civic is a cx which means it doesnt have vtec...i need 2 more sensors for it, one for the solenoid and the other for the oil pressure...but uhh...i have no idea where the hell to get it from...
3) shift linkage, wiring harness, axles <<< which ones IYHO are the best/median price range ones to get?
4) cable tranny to hyrdo tranny conversion...hard to install?
5) p30 or p28 ecu??
6) i heard a rumor about getting new fuel injectors because my old ones wont cut it with a b16a2...true?

 

dont eg6's come stock with a b16?

 

1) Yes they will. You need a 99-00 Si rear tranny bracket.
2) They come on the motor..sounds like you have some searching on this site to do.
3) They come with it -- or should. Otherwise, boo on the sale.
4) B16A2 is a hydro tranny unless you're buying it from some EF dude.
5) Either/or. Doesn't matter. P30 stock, or chipped P28.
6) wtf?

search around my friend..you have great research to do.

thanks for the reply
it seems as though i have to go out and buy an o2 sensor plug for the vtec..it doesnt come with the motor...
the swap im getting doesnt come with the axle or harness or shift linkage but instead of buying new ones i thought i could get it off of some other car...what options do i have?
and as for the cable to hydro tranny conversion i dont know how much work is involved but..ill read up some more and see whats going on..not many people are doing the cx to b16a2 swap so im having a little bit of a hard time

 

You have alot to learn,we suggest you do alot of research on what you need before you try and tackle this yourself.
Me for instance,i researched for 2 or 3 months before i even bought my first swap just so i understood every angle of the swap.
My advise to you is to use the search buton and start from there.

 

TONS of people have done the cx to b16 swap.
