Do you guys think that I could hook this up to my VTEC Solenoid so it would open when I engage VTEC and close when I disengage. Thanks

Generaly these cutouts are for forced induction vehicles that are choked down by the exhaust the law requires to be on the car. When boost is comming on, the valve opens and NO RESTRICTION!!!!!!

On most N/A cars all you will get is a lot of noise and a lean mixture to worry about.
