Default Break Caliper Help

I have read that the mugen activegate setup
uses s2000 calipers. Meaning that stock
s2000 calipers will fit on a ITR setup. Are the
mugen calipers modified from the stock setup,
or will the stock calipers work for me?

Also, the stock s2000 are a 2 piston caliper correct?

Thanks
elwood

IIRC, single piston. I haven't swapped pads/rotors yet but I'm fairly sure it's single.

And no, if I'm guessing your question correctly (trying to use OEM calipers on a DC2R/EK9R/yadda yadda). S2K calipers will not fit on your car. Again, IIRC but Mugen sourced out the carriers to make the S2K calipers fit and match the DC2. I could be wrong though.

*I think* that the rotor spacing is different from the DC5/DC2, and brackets would be needed for the caliper in order for the setup to work. If you're on a budget, try running a wilwood brake kit.

I am with Vapor, go with the Wilwood. The S2k brake caliper is a single sliding piston BTW.

I figured it was a streach.

Found the s2 for 135$ shipped, and this sexy lady
wants 450$ for some ricer red nsx'ers.

Im going to have a hard time spending 450$ on a
car that dosnt even drive yet.
