it could be an SI or DX tranny, only way to find out which it is, is to spin the spline 10 times (while the tranny is in 5th gear) look at how many times the differential turs. Around 3 spins is an SI, a bit more then 3 spins its a DX...

that math is basically..

10/FD/5th = how many rotations the diff will turn...

i did the math a while ago to check a tranny i was going to buy and thats what i got ~ 3 is SI, alot more then 3 is DX....

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by itsme******1987 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">my cousin just told me that the trannjy supposedly came off a sohc zc? but i dont know</TD></TR></TABLE>

then its similar to an SI, and its going to be roughly around 3 rotaions on the diff.
