Help me identify this tranny...
I bought a tranny from such a nice fella on h-tech (u know who you are) , and it was supposed to be a 98 ls hydralic tranny instead I recieved some sort of cable tranny...Now, I tried to put sohc dx axles that I had lying around in too see if this was maybe a civic tranny, but they are too small...So it leaves me to believe that maybe it is a 90-93 teg tranny possibly..Hovever there are no markings, vin stickers, etc. on the tranny...Anyone know how to tell the difference from one of these trannys to the next(with no markings)..Any help would be greatly appriciated... PS...Scammers are *********
wel look to see if there is either a slave cylinder on it or a type of pull unit.
the cable tranny has a cable running to the outside of the tranny where the slave normally goes and attaches itself there. These came on the 93 and older integras, as in 92,91..etc..
The hydro came on 94+ integras, and you would be able to notice the slave on it, but sometimes they don't come with a slave, but the engage the clutch the motion would be from left to right and on the calbe the cable pulls up.
and your D series axles wont work with a B series tranny
good luck,
